
Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are currently investigating four daytime residential break-ins in Kitchener and Cambridge.
On January 21, 2025, between approximately 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) gained entry to four homes in the area of Thomas Slee Drive in Kitchener, and the area of Dundas Street South and Beaverdale Road in Cambridge. Once inside, the suspect stole property and fled the area.
Investigators are looking to identify and speak with this individual in connection to the investigation.
Police are asking residents to check their home security cameras for any suspicious people or vehicles in the area during this time.
Waterloo Regional Police are reminding residents of the following tips to help prevent break-ins:
- Keep doors and windows locked, even when home
- Keep valuables out of common areas and out of plain sight
- Secure residences with home video surveillance cameras in the front and back of the residence
