Police Investigating a Road Rage Incident Involving a Firearm in Cambridge

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a road rage incident involving a firearm in Cambridge.

On November 15, 2023, at approximately 7:10 p.m., police received a report of road rage in the area of Saginaw Parkway and Green Vista Drive.

The victim reported that he had been driving south on Franklin Boulevard. When he stopped at Can-Amera Parkway, another driver exited his vehicle, threatened the victim, and reentered his vehicle.

Both vehicles then continued south on Franklin Boulevard, turned east onto Saginaw Parkway, and stopped on Green Vista Drive. The suspect driver then displayed a firearm, threatened the victim, and struck him with the firearm.

The suspect driver then returned to his vehicle and fled the area.

The suspect is described as a white male, 20-30 years old, with dirty blonde hair.

The victim sustained minor physical injuries.

The investigations remain ongoing by WRPS’ General Investigations Unit.
