UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:
Waterloo Region, Ontario - Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Major Crime Unit continue to investigate a shooting that occurred on August 6, 2022, in Waterloo.
At approximately 3:25 a.m., police received reports that a person had been shot in the area of Larch Street and Hickory Street.
Investigators believe that this was a targeted incident.
Investigators would like to identify and speak with the three individuals pictured below in connection to this incident.

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying three individuals in connection to a shooting in Waterloo.
On August 6, 2022, at approximately 3:25 a.m., police received reports that an individual had been shot in the area of Larch Street and Hickory Street.
The investigation is ongoing by members of WRPS’ Major Crime Unit. Investigators would like to identify and speak with the three individuals pictured below in connection to this incident.

PREVIOUS MEDIA RELEASE:
Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on August 6, 2022, in Waterloo.
At approximately 3:25 a.m., police received reports that a person had been shot in the area of Larch Street and Hickory Street.
Upon arrival, police located a 21-year-old Waterloo male suffering from gunshot wounds.
The male was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators believe that this was a targeted incident.
There will be an increased police presence in the area throughout the day as Detectives conduct a canvass of the area.
The investigation is ongoing by members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's General Investigations Unit.
