
Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate an attempted break-and-enter in Kitchener.
On September 8, 2024, at approximately 5 a.m., police received a report of three individuals attempting to break into a residential property in the area of Lancaster Street West and Bridgeport Road East.
A resident reported that one of the suspects was carrying a handgun.
The suspects fled the area on foot when confronted by the resident.
No physical injuries reported as a result of this incident.
Waterloo Regional Police encourage members of the public to keep all residential doors locked, even when home, and to report any suspicious activity or individuals to police immediately.
