Police Investigating Break-In at Kitchener Place of Worship

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a break-and-enter at a Kitchener place of worship.

On April 25, 2025, at approximately 5:30 a.m., an unknown male broke into a place of worship in the area of McIntyre Drive and Strasburg Road in Kitchener and stole cash.

The suspect then fled the area in a blue SUV.

The suspect is described as a White male wearing a blue hoodie, jeans, and black shoes.

Investigators believe the incident was targeted.

Businesses in the area are asked to check their security cameras for suspicious persons, vehicles, or activity between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. on April 25, 2025.

Waterloo Regional Police encourage homeowners, businesses, and organizations to consider the following break-and-enter prevention tips:

  • Install video surveillance cameras at the front and back of buildings
  • Notify police immediately when notified of an alarm
  • Report any suspicious persons or activity to police
