Police Investigating Motorcycle Collision in North Dumfries Township

Waterloo Region, Ontario  Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Services Unit is investigating a motorcycle collision in North Dumfries Township.

On June 7, 2025, at approximately 3:25 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a Dodge vehicle at the intersection of Dumfries Road and Rife Road.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 41-year-old Wilmot Township male, was transported by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services to a local hospital with serious physical injuries.

The driver of the Dodge, an 84-year-old male from Brantford, was not injured.

The intersection was closed for several hours for the investigation and has since re-opened.

The investigation is ongoing, and charges are anticipated.
