Police Seeking Assistance to Locate Wanted Male

UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male wanted on multiple criminal charges.

On September 4, 2024, police conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle in the area of River Road East and Grand River Boulevard in Kitchener. Officers identified the front seat passenger as a male wanted for over 15 criminal offences, including nine counts of failing to comply with a release order. 

After a brief foot pursuit, officers arrested Christopher Lougheed, 44, on the strength of five outstanding warrants. He was also charged with an addtional count of failing to comply with a release order.

Mr. Lougheed was held in police custody for a bail hearing.

Waterloo Region, Ontario  Waterloo Regional Police are seeking the public's assistance to locate a male wanted on multiple charges.

Christopher Lougheed, 44, from Kitchener, is currently wanted on the strength of five warrants for numerous offences, including:

  • Failure to comply with a release order (nine counts)
  • Operation while prohibited (two counts)
  • Theft over $5,000 (four counts)
  • Theft under $5,000
  • Possession of stolen property over $5,000
  • Possession of stolen property under $5,000
  • Flight from police
  • Careless driving

Mr. Lougheed is known to frequent the Waterloo Region and Windsor areas.
