Police Seeking Public's Assistance to Locate High-Risk Offender

UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE: 

Waterloo Region, Ontario – As a result of an ongoing investigation, Scott McLeod, 55, was arrested on March 31, 2023, in Waterloo, with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police. 

McLeod was arrested for being unlawfully at large. 

The Waterloo Regional Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating the male.

PREVIOUS MEDIA RELEASE: 

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Members of Waterloo Regional Police Service's Intimate Partner Violence Unit are requesting the public’s assistance to locate Scott McLeod, a 55-year-old, from Waterloo. 

Mr. McLeod is currently unlawfully at large and is believed to be in the Region of Waterloo.

Mr. McLeod is considered a high-risk offender with respect to intimate partner violence.

He is described as a white male, approximately 6’ tall, and 165 pounds. Mr. McLeod has a distinctive tattoo on his upper right arm.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mr. Scott McLeod is encouraged to call police at 519-570-9777.
