Take me out to the Ball Game!

Waterloo Region, Ontario – The Waterloo Regional Police Service is calling on the community to cheer on its members as they take on the Cambridge Tigers Special Olympics Baseball Team in a friendly game on July 30, 2019.

This is the 4th year that WRPS has participated in this fun-filled match.

“The Waterloo Regional Police Service is a long-time supporter of the Special Olympics and we are excited to take part in tonight’s baseball game,” said Bryan Larkin, Chief of Police. “Special Olympics is about more than sports. It’s about offering invaluable experiences and contributions to the lives of athletes that extend well beyond the game.”

Chief Larkin will captain the Waterloo Regional Police Service team as they try to match the Tigers swing for swing.

Join us for this free and exciting event at 6:30 p.m., where big hits and big smiles will take place on the diamond at Saginaw Public School, located at 740 Saginaw Parkway in Cambridge.
