Tis the Season for the Waterloo Regional Police Craft and Gift Show

For Immediate Release:  November 3, 2016
Waterloo Region, Ontario –   The Waterloo Regional Police Service is pleased to support local artisans and vendors as the host agency for the Waterloo Regional Police Service Craft and Gift Show on Saturday, November 5.
The community is invited to attend the Waterloo Regional Police Association (1128 Rife Road, North Dumfries) between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to enjoy a shopping experience which highlights community retailers and marks an unofficial launch to the holiday season.
Retail displays will include hand painted gift bags, cards, jewelry, custom knitted projects, wreaths, wood crafts, bake table, Christmas/everyday centerpieces,  handbags/totes, just to name a few. Local Medium, Karen Barclay will also be in attendance to perform readings.
“This is an opportunity to bring our community together and highlight the many talented individuals we have both inside and outside of our organization,” said Bryan Larkin, Chief of Police. “It also represents a time where we can collaborate to support worthwhile causes and spread some holiday cheer.”
Admission to the event is free but donations to the Waterloo Region Foodbank are appreciated.  Proceeds from the show will be donated to the Stuff a Cruiser program, which provides toys to children over the holiday season.  For more information about Waterloo Regional Police Service community events and initiatives, visit our website.
