Two WPRS Officers Injured while Responding to a Call for Service in Waterloo

Waterloo Region, Ontario – One person has been arrested, and two WRPS officers injured after police responded to a call for service in Waterloo.

On April 11, 2023, at approximately 9:50 p.m., police responded to a call for service in the area of Laurelwood Drive and Erbsville Road. 

While investigating the incident, two officers sustained injuries, with one transported to a local hospital for treatment.

As a result of the investigation, a 36-year-old Waterloo female was charged with two counts of assault with intent to resist arrest and assault peace officer – cause bodily harm.
