Waterloo Region Police TSU Investigating a Collision Involving a Pedestrian in Cambridge

UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:

Waterloo Region, Ontario – On February 16, 2024, at approximately 6:38 a.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a motor vehicle and a pedestrian on Pinebush Road at Struck Court. 

The 23-year-old female pedestrian was transported to an out-of-region hospital, where she would later succumb to her injuries.

WRPS' Traffic Service Unit is continuing the investigation.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash-camera footage is asked to call police at 519-570-9777, extension 8856.

Waterloo Region, Ontario – WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit is investigating a serious collision in Cambridge.

On February 16, 2024, at approximately 6:38 a.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a motor vehicle and a pedestrian on Pinebush Road at Struck Court.

The pedestrian, a 23-year-old female from Cambridge, was initially transported to a local hospital before being air lifted to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.

The roadway was closed for several hours for the police investigation.

The investigation is ongoing and charges are anticipated. Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage is encouraged to call police at 519-570-9777.
