Waterloo Regional Police Arrest a Male After a Series of Commercial Break and Enters in Waterloo

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police arrested a male during an in-progress break-and-end in Waterloo.

On April 18, 2024, at approximately 12:50 a.m., police responded to a report of an in-progress break-and-enter at a business in the area of King Street North and Northfield Drive East.

Upon arrival, police located a male exiting the business with merchandise. Through the investigation, police determined the male was a suspect in two separate commercial break-and-enters that occurred earlier that evening.

Police have arrested and charged the 41-year-old male with the following:

  • Break and enter - commit an indictable offence (three counts)
  • Mischief under $5,000 (three counts)
  • Possession of break-and-enter instruments (three counts)
  • Possession of property obtained by crime (two counts)

The male was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
