Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Cambridge Male in Child Pornography Investigation

Waterloo Region, Ontario - The Waterloo Regional Police Service's Cybercrime - Internet and Child Exploitation Unit have made an arrest in connection to a child pornography investigation. 

In October 2021, the Cybercrime - Internet Child Exploitation Unit conducted an investigation after police received a tip from the National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre.  

As a result of the investigation, on November 30, 2021, police arrested a 35-year-old Cambridge male, charging him with Making Available Child Pornography and Possession of Child Pornography.  

The Waterloo Regional Police Service is a member of the Ontario Provincial Strategy to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the Internet. This project has been made possible by a grant from the Ministry of the Solicitor General.
