Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Male after Disturbance at Fast Food Restaurant in Waterloo

Waterloo Region, Ontario - Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male after a disturbance at a fast-food restaurant in Waterloo. 

On March 16, 2022, at approximately 11:30 p.m., a male allegedly caused a disturbance at a restaurant in the area of University Avenue East and Weber Street North. 

The male jumped over a serving counter and entered the employee-only area of the restaurant. The male then recorded himself behind the counter while grabbing food and eating it. 

The male fled the restaurant and attempted to steal a bike. The male was arrested by police who were at the restaurant at the time. 

An 18-year-old Etobicoke male was charged with public intoxication, mischief under $5,000 and causing a disturbance.
