Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Male after Drug Warrant in Kitchener

Waterloo Region, Ontario - Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male for drug-related offences in Kitchener.

On November 12, 2021, members of the Direct Action Response Team (DART) and Emergency Response Team (ERT) completed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence in the area of Oak Street and Victoria Street South. 

Investigators seized suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine and four prohibited weapons.

As a result of the investigation, a 49-year-old Kitchener male was arrested for two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession for the purpose of distributing and unauthorized possession of a weapon. The male was held in custody for a bail hearing.
