Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Male after Investigation by Internet Child Exploitation Unit

Waterloo Region, Ontario – The Waterloo Regional Police Service's Cybercrime - Internet Child Exploitation Unit has arrested a male in connection to an investigation involving an allegation of sexual offences against children. 

The incident was reported to police in June 2022, and investigators conducted an investigation. 

On September 19, 2022, police arrested a 19-year-old Brampton male. The male was charged with making available child pornography and possession of child pornography. 

The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
