Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Male in Relation to Sexual Assault Investigation

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male in connection to an investigation into thirty-four separate sexual assaults against women in Waterloo Region.

Jeffrey Sloka, a 50-year-old Waterloo male, was arrested at approximately 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2019.

He is facing thirty-four counts of Sexual Assault and is scheduled to appear in the Kitchener’s Ontario Court of Justice on September 24, 2019.

It is alleged, from January 2010 to February 2017, Sloka sexually assaulted patients under his care.

At the time of the allegations, Sloka was working as a physician in Kitchener.

Investigators believe there may be more victims. The investigation is ongoing.
