Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a third male in connection to the death of Shaun Yorke.
Shaun Yorke, 45, of Kitchener, was found deceased inside his residence at 150 Elm Ridge Drive at approximately 1:20 a.m. on July 8, 2018.
The cause of death was determined to be a result of a gunshot injury.
On Friday, October 26, 2018, members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Major Crime Unit arrested a Kitchener male in connection to the homicide. His name, or any other information that could identify him, cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. He has been charged with one count of First Degree Murder, one count of Robbery with a Restricted Firearm and one count of Forcible Confinement.
This is the third arrest made in connection with the homicide investigation.
On October 25, 2018, Kenneth Morrison, 27, from Kitchener, was arrested and charged with one count of First Degree Murder, one count of Robbery with a Restricted Firearm and one count of Forcible Confinement.
On October 24, 2018, Mowafag Saboon, 24, of Kitchener, was arrested in connection to the homicide. He has been charged with several offences, including First Degree Murder, Robbery with a Restricted Firearm, Forcible Confinement, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Careless Storage of a Firearm, Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Occupant of a Motor Vehicle Knowing There Was a Firearm, Possession of a Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition, Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Schedule I and
Possession of a Schedule II Substance.
