Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Two After a Commercial Robbery in Cambridge Involving a Firearm

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police responded to a robbery call involving a firearm at a Cambridge business.

On March 2, 2025, at approximately 10:40 a.m., police received a report of a male with a firearm in the area of Maple Grove Road and Cherry Blossom Road.

The known male entered a business and attempted to steal various items. When confronted, he brandished a firearm towards staff before fleeing in a waiting vehicle.

Officers attended the location and located the male nearby. The firearm was located and was found to be a replica.

A 27-year-old Cambridge male and a 23-year-old Kitchener male have been arrested and are being held for a bail hearing.

There are no reports of any physical injuries.
