Waterloo Regional Police Arrested Two Males at Shoplifting Incident in Kitchener

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police arrested two individuals following a shoplifting incident in Kitchener.

On November 14, 2021, at approximately 7:40 p.m., officers responded to a business in the area of Ottawa Street South and Fisher Hallman Road for reports of shoplifting in progress. 

Officers arrived on scene and located the two suspects involved, along with $1,500 worth of stolen merchandise. The investigation determined that the suspects were also in possession of a stolen vehicle, with approximately $3,500 worth of stolen property inside the vehicle. 

As a result of the investigation, a 25-year-old male and 23-year-old male, both from Brampton, were arrested and are facing numerous charges, including possession of stolen property over $5000, possession of stolen property under $5000, possession of identity documents, fraud under $5000, possession of drugs and theft under $5000.
