Waterloo Regional Police Charge Driver after Vehicle Strikes Waterloo Home

Collision investigation.

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Neighbourhood Policing North Division have charged a driver after a single motor vehicle collision in Waterloo.

On October 8, 2022, at approximately 2:40 p.m., police responded to a report of a collision in the area of Wild Calla Street and Sundew Drive.

The driver of a vehicle was travelling on Wild Calla Street and lost control, resulting in the vehicle striking a house before coming to a stop.

The collision caused significant damage to the residence. No one was inside the residence at the time of the incident.

The driver and passenger of the vehicle were assessed at the scene by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services with non-life-threatening injuries.

As a result of the investigation, a 22-year-old Waterloo male was arrested and charged with Dangerous Driving.
