
Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police have charged an individual in connection to the death of an adult female from a residence in Cambridge.
On September 11, 2020, at approximately 11 a.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to a medical call at a residence on Queen Street West in Cambridge.
Upon arrival, police located a 22-year-old female deceased.
A post-mortem examination has determined that the victim died as a result of multiple stab wounds.
A 41-year-old female has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder. The female was known to the victim.
The accused will appear in Kitchener’s Ontario Court of Justice via video on September 14, 2020.
Members of Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Major Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Unit are continuing to investigate the incident; however, police are not looking for any other suspects.
