Waterloo Regional Police Charge Male in Child Pornography Investigation

Waterloo Region, Ontario - Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male in connection to a child pornography investigation. 

In August 2021, the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Cybercrime – Internet Child Exploitation Unit conducted an investigation involving alleged child pornography. 

On September 15, 2021, as a result of the ongoing investigation, police arrested a 27-year-old Waterloo male, charging him with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, Making Child Pornography Available, Making Child Pornography and Voyeurism. 

The Waterloo Regional Police Service is a member of the Ontario Provincial Strategy to protect children from sexual abuse and exploitation on the internet. This project has been made possible by a grant from the Ministry of the Solicitor General.
