Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police have charged a 33-year-old male with Attempted Murder in connection to an incident that occurred December 17, 2018.
Waterloo Regional Police responded to the area of Ainslie Street North and Simcoe Street at 4:30 a.m. after receiving reports of an altercation involving two males.
As a result of the altercation, one male received a stab wound and was transported to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. He has since been released.
This is believed to be a targeted incident and there is no concern for public safety.
