Waterloo Regional Police Chorus Seeks New Members - Building Communities Through Song

Waterloo Region, Ontario –  The Waterloo Regional Police Chorus is seeking new members to join its reputable group and continue offering top-notch performances across Waterloo Region and the country.

The 50-member Chorus, which was formed in November 1973, has performed at a wide variety of community events, including fundraisers, benefit concerts, and ceremonial functions. The Chorus has also performed throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe, helping to raise approximately $1.5 million since its inception.

The Chorus has received letters of commendation from Queen Elizabeth and President Ronald Reagan for concerts and fundraising efforts in their countries, as well as one from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. In addition, the Chorus has also received the prestigious Golden Hammer Award from Habitat for Humanity in the United States for helping raise money to build a Habitat residence.

Under the leadership of Music Director Natalie Robinson and accompaniment of Sheila Wallace, the Chorus has also been honoured to share the stage with such well-known artists as John McDermott, Men of the Deeps, Susan Aglukark, the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony Orchestra, Frank Mills, and many others.

Membership in the Chorus is open to men and women in the community who are willing to dedicate themselves to achieving the standards for which the Chorus is known.
