Waterloo Regional Police Continue to Investigate a Hit & Run Collision in Kitchener

Waterloo Region, Ontario - Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Unit are investigating a hit and run collision in Kitchener.

On November 14, 2021, at approximately 6:40 p.m., a 27-year-old Kitchener female was crossing the intersection of Homer Watson Boulevard and Pioneer Drive when she was struck by a vehicle turning left. The suspect vehicle fled the scene. 

The female sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services. 

The suspect vehicle is described as a late model, white pickup truck with a chrome front bumper.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dash-cam footage that captured the collision, is asked to call police at 519-570-9777 ext. 8856 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
