Waterloo Regional Police Continue to Investigate a Home Invasion in Cambridge

UPDATED RELEASE:

The Waterloo Regional Police Service's Robbery Unit continues to investigate a home invasion in Cambridge. 

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the make and model of this vehicle, along with the driver.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has video surveillance of the area or information on the vehicle and driver, is asked to contact police at 519-570-9777 extension 8418 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a home invasion in Cambridge.

On Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at approximately 1:45 a.m., three males armed with a machete, a handgun, and a hatchet forced entry into a residence on Albert Street in Cambridge. A male inside the residence was assaulted and sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the incident.

Police believe this to be a targeted incident.

The suspects were last seen fleeing south on Highway 24 in a black Dodge Journey. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has video surveillance in the area is asked to contact police at 519-570-9777 extension 8418 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
