Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a motor vehicle collision in Waterloo.

On Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at approximately 6:30 a.m., police responded to the area of Northfield Drive and Davenport Road in Waterloo.  A female cyclist was traveling east on Northfield Drive when she was struck by a pick-up traveling north on Davenport Road, attempting to make a right-hand turn. The cyclist was transported to an out-of-region hospital with a serious head injury. 

The Traffic Services Unit continues to investigate the collision. Anyone with information or who witnessed the collision is encouraged to contact the Traffic Services Unit at 519-570-9777 ext 8856.
