Waterloo Regional Police Continue to Investigate a Residential Break and Enter in Woolwich Township

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are investigating two residential break and enters in Woolwich Township.

Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Break, Enter and Vehicle Theft Team are investigating a residential break and enter that occurred on March 23, 2024 between 8 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the area of Flanders Road and Townsend Drive. Also, on March 26, 2024 between 10 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. in the area of Windrush Trail and Doon South Drive, in the City of Kitchener.

In both incidents, unknown suspects entered the residence by damaging the glass door. Once inside the suspects stole personal items. The victims were not home at the time of the incident.

WRPS’ Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team is asking residents to consider the following tips to help prevent break-ins:

  • Keep doors and windows locked, even when home
  • Keep valuables out of common areas and out of plain sight
  • Secure residences with home video surveillance cameras in the front and back of the residence
