Waterloo Regional Police Continue to Investigate a Robbery at a Kitchener High School

UPDATE:

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a youth in connection to a person-on-person robbery at a local high school.

On Thursday, November 11 2021, police identified, and arrested a 15-year-old male in connection to this incident.  The male has been charged with Robbery and Forcible Confinement, and was held in custody for a bail hearing. 

PREVIOUS RELEASE:

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a person-on-person robbery that occurred at a high school in Kitchener.

On November 10, 2021, at approximately 5:55 p.m., police received a report of a robbery that had taken place earlier in the day.

Police received information that at approximately 2 p.m., the victim was inside the school when an unknown suspect demanded personal property from the victim. The suspect then fled the area.

No physical injuries were sustained as a result of the incident.
