Waterloo Regional Police Continue to Investigate a Shooting in Uptown Waterloo

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a shooting in uptown Waterloo where one person was injured.

On July 14, 2024, at approximately 2:25 a.m., police responded to the area of King Street North and Princess Street West for reports of gunshots after a disturbance.

One person has been located with non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the incident.

There are no public safety concerns.

Police presence will remain in the area to continue the investigation.
