Waterloo Regional Police Continue to Investigate Collision in Cambridge

Ongoing collision investigation.

Waterloo Region, Ontario- Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Services Unit continue to investigate a motor vehicle collision in Cambridge.

On January 3, 2022, at approximately 3 p.m., emergency services responded to the area of Pinebush Road and High Ridge Court for a collision between a passenger vehicle and a large commercial vehicle.

The driver of the passenger vehicle, a 31-year-old Cambridge male, was transported by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The 50-year-old driver of the commercial vehicle was uninjured.

The investigation remains ongoing and charges are pending.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dash-cam footage that captured the collision, is asked to call police at 519-570-9777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
