Waterloo Regional Police Continue to Investigate Collision in Wilmot Township

Collision Investigation

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Services Unit is investigating a serious collision in Wilmot Township. 

On January 28, 2025, at approximately 2:10 p.m., emergency services responded to a report of a collision in the area of Perth Street.

A bobcat became lodged in the snow and the operator was attempting to remove it. A tow strap became dislodged and struck the operator.

The operator, a 21-year-old male was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
