Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate two separate reports of a suspicious male in Elmira.

Approximately two weeks ago, a young female was approached by an unknown male in the area of Church Street West. There was a brief interaction between the male and the young female before she was able to seek a place of safety.

On Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at approximately 8:30 a.m., the female was approached by the same male in the area of Mockingbird Drive. The suspect assaulted the female during this interaction, and then fled the area on foot.

There were no physical injuries sustained as a result of either incident.

The suspect has been described as male, 30-40 years old, six feet tall, clean shaven, wearing glasses, a black hooded jacket, black toque, black mask, and black pajama pants.

The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 519-570-9777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
