Waterloo Regional Police Continuing Collision Investigation in Wilmot Township

Updated Media Release: 

Waterloo Region, Ontario - On June 26, 2021, the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Unit charged a 44-year-old Waterloo male with Careless Driving Cause Bodily Harm concerning this collision. The involved driver is scheduled to attend court on September 22, 2021.

Previous Media Release: 

Waterloo Region, Ontario - On June 17, 2021, at approximately 5:55 p.m., Emergency Services responded to reports of a motor vehicle collision in the area of Erbs Road and Wilmot Line in Wilmot Township. The collision involved four motor vehicles.

Two female occupants from an involved Toyota Camry were transported to hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services with minor injuries. 

Erbs Road and Wilmot Line were closed for several hours while police investigated. The Waterloo Regional Police Service's Remotely Piloted Vehicle (RPV) was deployed to assist in the investigation. 

The Traffic Services Unit continues to investigate the cause of the collision.
