Waterloo Regional Police Continuing to Investigate a Suspicious Vehicle in Waterloo

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a suspicious vehicle in Waterloo.

On October 12, 2021, at approximately 2:40 p.m., officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the area of Lester Street and Columbia Street West.

The vehicle failed to stop for officers and struck a police cruiser as it fled the area. The vehicle was last seen travelling westbound on Columbia Street West towards Phillip Street.

The vehicle has been described as an early to mid-2000s Ford F-150.

Anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to call police at 519-570-9777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
