Waterloo Regional Police Continuing to Investigate Collision in Wilmot Township

Motor Vehicle Collision Investigation.

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Unit are investigating a motor vehicle collision in Wilmot Township.

On November 10, 2022, at approximately 2:20 p.m., emergency services responded to the area of Huron Road between Tye Road and Puddicombe Road for reports of a collision.

Through the initial investigation, police determined that a driver of a motorcycle was travelling east on Huron Road, approaching a farm tractor travelling in the same direction. The driver of the motorcycle lost control and travelled off the roadway.

The motorcycle driver, a 72-year-old Kitchener male was transported by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the tractor reported no physical injuries.

The roads in the area have since been reopened.

The investigation is ongoing by the Traffic Services Unit.
