
Waterloo Region, Ontario - Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate the fatal stabbing of Joshua Bennett, 18, that occurred in Kitchener.
On September 24, 2021, at approximately 4:30 a.m., police responded to the area of Paulander Drive in Kitchener after receiving a report of an injured male.
Upon arrival, police located a deceased male outside near a trail in the area.
A post-mortem examination determined that the cause of death resulted from multiple stab wounds.
Investigators with Waterloo Regional Police Service's Major Crime Unit believe that several individuals in the community have information that could help solve this homicide.
"It has been two years since the tragic murder of Joshua Bennett and our investigators continue to work tirelessly to find the individual responsible for this crime,” said Mark Crowell, Chief of Police. “We know that someone has information and we ask them to please come forward in order to bring some sense of closure to the family and to the community.”
