Waterloo Regional Police Continuing to Investigate Robbery in Kitchener

Waterloo Region, Ontario – On January 14, 2022, at approximately 7:45 a.m., police responded to a report of a robbery in the area of Highland Road West and Fischer-Hallman Road in Kitchener.

The suspect entered a convenience store brandishing a knife and demanded money from the store clerk. The suspect fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30 to 35 years of age, approximately 5”8” tall and a slim build. The male was wearing a long black jacket, black gloves, black ball cap, black face covering, and gray shoes with white soles.

There were no physical injuries reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
