Waterloo Regional Police Investigate After Body Discovered in Kitchener

Waterloo Region, Ontario –  Waterloo Regional Police are investigating the discovery of a body found this afternoon in the area of Homer Watson Boulevard and Bleams Road in Kitchener.

The body was discovered shortly after 12 p.m. by hikers in the area. The identity of the deceased person, as well as the cause and time of death, has not yet been confirmed.

The Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Major Crime Unit, General Detectives and Forensic Identification officers are on scene continuing to investigate.

There will be an increased police presence in the area surrounding Steckle Park as the investigation continues.
