
Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a break and enter that occurred in Wilmot Township.
On December 24, 2021, between 12 a.m. and 5 a.m., unknown suspect(s) entered a fenced compound in the area of Gingerich Road and Foundry Street in Wilmot Township.
As a result of the break-in, two loaded tracker trailers with approximately $363,000 worth of Ferrero chocolates were stolen from the lot.
The investigation is ongoing.
