Waterloo Regional Police Investigate Fatal Shooting

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Kitchener on December 15, 2019.

Police responded to a residence on Windale Crescent in Kitchener at approximately 4:15 a.m., after receiving reports of shots fired.

Upon arrival, an adult male was located deceased.

Two other males received non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators believe the shooting was targeted and that those involved are known to each other.

There will be an increased police presence in the Windale Crescent area as members of our Major Crime unit, Forensic Identification unit, and General Detectives continue to investigate.
