Waterloo Regional Police Investigate Single Motor Vehicle Collision in Waterloo

Waterloo Region, Ontario- The lone driver, a 19-year-old Waterloo male, has died as a result of his injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.

Waterloo Region, Ontario – The Waterloo Regional Police Traffic Services Unit continues to investigate a single motor vehicle collision in Waterloo.

On November 21, 2021, at approximately 8:30 a.m., emergency services responded to a collision in the area of Weber Street North and High Street.

The investigation revealed that a grey Nissan vehicle was travelling west on Weber Street North. The vehicle lost control and struck an utility pole.

The lone driver, a 19-year-old Waterloo male was transported to an out-of-region hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Weber Street North from Milford Avenue to King Street North was closed for several hours for the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.
