Waterloo Regional Police Investigate Stabbing in Waterloo

UPDATED RELEASE

Members of Waterloo Regional Police Service's General Investigations Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the two individuals below in connection to a stabbing incident.

Two to Identify

On January 12, 2022, at approximately 11:55 p.m., police received reports that four individuals were involved in a physical altercation at  University Ave West and Phillip Street in Waterloo.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 519-570-9777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Anonymous tips can also be submitted at www.waterloocrimestoppers.com.

PREVIOUS RELEASE

Waterloo Region, Ontario – On January 13, 2022, at approximately 12 a.m., police responded to the area of University Avenue West and Phillip Street in Waterloo for a disturbance.

Reports indicate that several individuals were involved in an altercation which resulted in one male getting stabbed.

The victim was transported to an out-of-region hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Members of the General Investigations Unit continue to investigate the incident.

Anyone with information or who witnessed the incident is encouraged to contact police at 519-570-9777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
