Waterloo Regional Police Investigating a Fatal Shooting in Cambridge

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred in Cambridge on July 31, 2019.

Police responded to a plaza in the area of Franklin Boulevard and Jamieson Parkway at approximately 7:40 p.m., after receiving a report of a shooting incident. 

Upon arrival, police located a male with serious injuries. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced deceased. 

The Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Major Crime Unit, General Detectives and Forensic Identification officers are currently investigating. There will be an increased police presence in the area as the investigation continues.
