Waterloo Regional Police Investigating a Hit and Run Collision in Waterloo

Waterloo Region, Ontario - Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a hit and run collision in Waterloo yesterday morning. 

On November 29, 2021, at approximately 11:30 am, emergency services responded to the intersection of Bridge Street West and Dansbury Drive for a collision between a salting truck and a minivan. 

The minivan, a grey Toyota Sienna, was determined to be stolen and was recovered at the scene. The driver of the stolen vehicle fled the area on foot. 

The driver has been described as a male with short dark hair, approximately 5'10" to 6'0" tall, was last seen wearing a black jacket, light blue pants, and was carrying a dark-coloured backpack. 

The investigation is ongoing. 

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or has dash-cam footage of the incident, is asked to call police at 519-570-9777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
