Waterloo Regional Police Investigating a Hit and Run Collision Involving a Cyclist

Waterloo Region, Ontario - Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Traffic Unit are continuing to investigate a hit and run collision in Kitchener.

On November 12, 2021, at approximately 5:35 p.m., emergency services responded to the intersection of Homer Watson Boulevard and Old Carriage Drive for a collision between a vehicle and a cyclist. 

The cyclist, a 24-year-old Kitchener male, was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle involved is believed to be an older (1995-2005) sedan that is dark in colour with a distinct brown, orange, or red decorative stripe running horizontally down the sides of the vehicle.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dash-cam footage that captured the collision, is asked to call police at 519-570-9777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
