Waterloo Regional Police Investigating a Shooting Incident in Waterloo


Waterloo Region, Ontario Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Waterloo on January 16, 2020.

Police responded to a residence in the area of Beechdrops Drive and Ladyslipper Drive in Waterloo, at approximately 10:15 p.m., after receiving a report of a shooting incident.

Upon arrival, police located a 43-year-old male with critical injuries. He was taken to hospital.

Police are continuing to investigate the targeted nature of this incident. However, the Waterloo Regional Police Service would like to remind the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police.

There will be an increased police presence in the area today.
