Waterloo Regional Police Investigating a Suspicious Death

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a suspicious death after a male was located deceased in Kitchener.

On February 3, 2020, at approximately 10:55 a.m., police responded to the area of Highland Road West and Ira Needles Boulevard in Kitchener after receiving a report of an injured male.

Upon arrival, police located a deceased male by the side of the road.

The initial investigation indicates that the male appears to have been struck by a motor vehicle that left the scene.

Members of Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Major Crimes Unit, Traffic Services Unit and Forensic Identification Unit are continuing to investigate.

There will continue to be a heavy police presence in the area throughout the day.
